Samsung HL-T5075S (HLT5075S) Review – 50-inch Rear Projection HDTV
Originally Reviewed on October 21st, 2007The Samsung HL-T5075S (HLT5075S) is a an attractive looking 50 inch rear projection HDTV. The HLT5075S is a DLP rear projection TV which many people believe is one of the top rear projection technologies available. The HL-T5075S features a piano black exterior with a very slim exterior bezel so most of what you are looking at is the screen. This HDTV is reasonably priced at around $1200, we have found it ranging anywhere from $1100 – $1600. The HL-T5075S is a great deal at around $1100 but for $1600 you are getting in a larger HDTV range.

The Samsung HLT-5075S is packed with all the features you really need. It’s a very sharp looking HDTV on the screen and with its external appearance. It has plenty of rear inputs for your cable box, video game systems and any other extra video sources you may have. It is lacking the popular 1080P resolution but a 50 inch television in a standard living room won’t really show much of a difference between 720P and 1080P. Samsung has always been a quality HDTV manufacturer and they uphold that reputation with the HL-T5075S.
