This is a really good television and has very crisp HD along with a fairly good standard resolution viewing. The one thing that you need to make sure of with this television though is to never view it in 4:3 standard as it is a plasma television. They use the grey bars on the side to try and keep the plasma crystals all lit up to deteriorate at the same rate, but it still is not enough. My wife used to turn the black side panels on which is a very big NO NO for these types of televisions and now I have the constant sidebar burn in of sorts. It is such that the main 4:3 viewing area had degraded slightly faster because the sidebars were not lit up and now have two different clarities on my television. If used correctly I would highly recommend this TV as it has multiply HDMI ports and component video as well. A very easy to use on screen TV guide as well. Good TV
