Up for Review: Westinghouse VR-3250DF LCD TV. Along with the models with comparatively larger screen size, Westinghouse has also launched a number of 32-inch LCD TV models by targeting the growing demand for the backup or second TV sets. The VR-3250DF is one such model launched at an affordable price-tag and offers the normal and traditional features. Unlike other high-end models available in the market, it does not support 3D technology and does not provide users with any options to access internet on the TV screen.
The video quality and resolution offered by the model also does not suit the requirement of the latest movies, television content and video games. Most of the new digital content are being developed using 3D technology and with a 1080p HD resolution. Therefore, the 720p resolution offered by the model will have an impact on watching a wide variety of movies and television content. However, the normal video quality and resolution will not have a huge impact on watching the normal television programs like news, weather, talk shows and family dramas.
Similar to the resolution, the 60 Hz refresh rate offered by the set seems normal and much lower in comparison to the features offered by similar models. The rate will not affect your viewing of normal and informative television programs, but it will not suit the faster moving scenes involving sports and action. With the refresh rate, your kids will not be able to access their favorite sports and action channels and video games without any motion blur. So you can consider buying the models only to watch the normal television programs and movies.

The manufacturer also allows users to place the 32-inch TV set in a convenient manner. With ultra-slim and lightweight designs, the model can be easily accommodated inside a small sized apartment. Further, you can place the TV set in various parts of your house including bedroom, kitchen, study and dormitory. The model also comes with the 176 degrees viewing angle feature that allows you to view the scenes exactly even when you are not sitting on the seats placed directly in front of the 32-inch TV screen.
Westinghouse has tried to enhance the overall usability of the PC by including 2 HDMI and 1 PC input options. The options allows you to connect compatible digital devices to the TV set and access your offline collection of movies, music and photos stored on various types of devices and discs. You can explore these ports and terminals to connect a Blu-ray player, video game consoles and camcorder. However, you will miss the options to directly access the digital content stored on the USB devices and SD memory cards. Also, the normal video related features may not encourage a viewer to use the TV set for accessing his offline library of digital content. The lower price tag and overall feature made the model suitable to back up you main 3D HD TV set.
