Up for Review: Westinghouse VR-3215 LCD TV. This 32-inch LCD TV model is launched by Westinghouse to target the growing number of television channels. It comes with an affordable price-tag and offers a set of normal and traditional feature. Unlike some of the high-end models launched by various manufacturers, it does not support the 3D technology nor does it offer any wired or wireless networking options.
The video quality offered by the model also does not suit the requirements of the latest movies, television programs and video games. Most of the latest digital content are being developed in 1080p HD resolution. So these television programs and movies can be viewed on a TV set that offers the 1080p HD resolution in original. The 720p HD resolution offered by the VR-3215 will affect your viewing of a wide variety of traditional as well as modern digital content.
Just like the resolution, the 60 Hz refresh rate offered by the models is almost basic. The refresh rate may not affect the viewing of normal television programs like news, weather and talk shows. But the rate is much lower to support the faster moving sports and actions. Your kids will definitely complain about the set when they will not be able to access their favorite sports and action channels and video games without any motion blur. However, the normal video related feature will not have a huge impact on watching the normal programs.

As you are not going to place a 32-inch model inside your main living room, you can consider using the TV set as a back up or second TV set to complement the 3D HD TV. Further, the model allows you to place it in various parts of the house including kitchen, study, bedroom and dormitory. You can even place the lightweight and ultrathin model inside a small apartment. The manufacturer has included the 176 degrees viewing angle support to watch the scenes in an exact manner even when you are sitting on the side and corner seats.
You can even use the angular viewing option to watch the scenes while performing some domestic and kitchen tasks. Westinghouse has further included 2 HDMI ports to connect the model with compatible digital devices like Blu-ray player, camcorder and video game players. These connectivity options allow you to access your offline collection of movies, music and photos stored on different types of discs including CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. But the video quality provided by the TV set may not encourage users to explore these connectivity options. The overall video and connectivity related features make the model suitable only watch the normal television programs being aired across different television channels. The lower price tag also suits the requirements of a budget backup or additional TV set to complement your 3D HD TV.

This company is absolutely the worst that I have ever had to do business with. We bought a 32 inch LED screen and when we turned it on, the screen was flashing and the images were distorted with lines running accross them. “No problem,” I though, “I’ll just return it or exchange it!” WRONG. They put me through an almost month long process of uploading pictures (which the repeatedly magically did not recieve), telling me they would call and they didnt, and then we got into the fabulous fine lines of the warrently. Even though the TV is brand new, they wouldn’t pay for the shipping back to them, they wouldn’t give me a new one, saying they would “repair” the one I already have, and best of all, they said it would take a minimum of two weeks. Disgusting. The customer service was horrible, the process has been dragged out, and the TV itself (especially the sound system, apart from the obvious issue with the image) is a piece of crap. I am so disappointed to have wasted my money on this poorly made product.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY!!!! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!! THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT BUT ONCE IT BREAKS YOU ARE DONE FOR. I SENT MINE BACK IT CAN’T BE REPAIRED AND I WILL NOT BE SENT ANOTHER BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO 32 IN OR BETTER TV’S AND HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY WILL HAVE THEM. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 48 HOURS AND THEY STILL CAN’T TELL ME IF ANOTHER WAREHOUSE HAS ONE. GETTING MY MONEY BACK JOKE THEY ONLY WANT TO PAY WHAT I PAYED WHICH WAS A VERY GOOD DEAL AT TARGET INSTEAD OF WHAT IT WOULD COST ME TO REPLACE IT. OH AND THAT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 6 TO 8 WEEKS. IN THE MEAN TIME I AM PAYING FOR FOR HD TV AND DON’T HAVE A TV BUT I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO BE UPSET WITH THEM. PLEASE!!!!
