The VX20L has an 8 ms response time, with a contrast ratio of 700:1. This results in sharp, crisp pictures without any noticeable ghosting effects. Colors remained vibrant throughout. The set also held its own when connected to gaming consoles, including the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. The 160° horizontal is pretty decent for a television of this size, considering it’s best use is as a single display – not many people will be using it for family viewing on a home theater. And while the earlier batches of this television had support for picture-in-picture, the latest models don’t, which comes as a slight disappointment. But that shouldn’t take much away from all the other great features of this set. The VIZIO VX20L truly is a quality buy at a great price.
