Up for Review: Vizio VO370M LCD TV. This is an HDTV which is a class apart from the rest of the models. Being an ECO model, it is economically as well as environmentally viable. It consumes far less power than most HDTVs in this range. In fact, it exceeds the required norms of Energy Star 3.0 by about 15%. This signifies that it requires far less power for its functioning. In the present world scenario, saving power is a necessity and this HDTV works very well here.
The resolution of the Vizio VO370M is 1080p. This means that you can watch the best possible image quality in your HDTV. You can watch the movies with full theater effects. The images are very crisp and life-like. You can almost feel as if you are sitting next to them. The Vizio VO370M sports a contrast ratio of 15000:1. This implies that the black levels are significantly better. Both the shades of black and white are easily discernible. The pictures also seem to be more natural.

The Vizio VO370M has seven times more high definition inputs than other HDTVs in this category. This includes 3 HDMI connections which are a great asset for the HDTV. You can watch movies with great style. You can also connect the camcorder and view the different photos you have. This will make for a great day with friends. Besides this, you can also play games with your children by connecting a gaming console. The images will seem very real and ready to jump out of the screen.
A review of the Vizio VO370M shows that it has an integrated ATSC tuner which can relay all signals which are free to air. The obtained images have a response time of 5 ms which means that there will be less flickering and blurring. And to make the images more interesting, there are 1.06 billion colors. This will add to the natural look of the images. And you can sit in any part of the room to get a good view because the viewing angle is 178 degrees. Just bought this set six days ago. I have a Dish Network satellite system and they came and installed a new HD dish and HD receiver and I have added a Blu-ray dvd player. The first thing we watched on the set was Disney’s Blu-ray “Earth” movie. Wow! My wife complained that it was too realistic. She wanted to reach out and pet the baby elephant. We get a slew of HD channels from Dish Network and they are all very good. I watched college and pro football on Saturday and Sunday and it was mind boggling. The thing I didn’t expect to get was the clarity of the sound. I felt as if I was standing next to the QB as he was calling out signals. I would have liked a larger set, but this was the biggest I could find that would fit into our home entertainment center. I originally had my heart set on a Samsung 37, 1080P, but this was a much better deal, $200. less. Besides my old eyes couldn’t ascertain the difference between the two. Vizio — go for it!

A great television at a great price; need I say more? YES!
Wow, just a great littel HDTV for such a low-price ($420.00!!!). It has all the connections I could dream of, sounds amazing, the picture is perfect, no humming or buzzing, no color shifting, no fading; it’s just great all around.
The only negative I have yet to find on this particular set is the “VIZIO” light up nameplate on the front bottom of the unit. IT is annoying when watching the screen to have a bright white light right underneath casuing my eyes to wander to it. But I just put by center speaker in front of it and I cannot see it anymore (I would have used electrical tape to cover that annoying light up if I had to).
That is a small negative that is fixed very easily. This TV rocks, and it is light, efficient and clear as day.
No wonder Vizio has stolen the market for HDTV’s from the like sos Sony and Pannasonic.
Keep up the good work Vizio! Seriously, I am a very hard man to please. This is the first review I have given for just about anything that only had (1) Negative aspect to it.

Bought this at the local Wal*mart because of the price – and the TV had all the features i was looking for. More input options then you can shake a stick at -some in back and some on the very thin side panel. With 1080p the picture is clear and even better than your old tube on standard def (480i)cable. The screen is glass covered and absorbs all the light that used to blur my tube in daylight. Sound is a little tinny as some people have suggested but there is a built in equalizer which helps and it packs lot of power(10 watts per channel) while using very few electrons -great for a miser like myself.(make sure you get the eco model)great price and great TV – buy one ,

Received this Vizio 37″ LCD TV as a gift. The TV is full HD 1080p which is great when viewing HD TV vs. standard non-HD TV. I have a small apartment and this size TV is just right and the high def is excellent (w/Time Warner). Tune the TV as the quick guide says and I can’t believe anyone being disappointed. Though the sound is not really loud or deep, I think most people hook a HDTV to some external speakers like I did. The viewing experience is remarkable (this is my first HDTV); especially coming from a standard picture tube without HD service. I haven’t seen 720p and 1080p side by side but for someone that isn’t going to use HD TV they probably would be ok with something other than 1080. But for this price, simple set up, and picture quality; you can’t go wrong. Add some inexpensive speakers and unless you are using this TV in a huge area, the experience should be great!
