Up for review: Vizio VA190E-W. Known for their innovative consumer electronic products, VIZIO group has now come up with a complete new line of Energy efficient LCD HDTV’s. The latest 19” VA190E-W is part of the seven new EcoHD(TM) LCD HDTV’s that is expected to be available in market by summer 2009 with a price of around $249.99.
The stylishly white/black piano colored bezel of the new VIZIO VA190E-W has been designed especially for today’s tech-savvy consumers. VIZIO claims the 19” VA190E-W LCD TV consumes less energy than a conventional 60watt light bulb and can surpass the Energy Star 3.0 requirement standards by as much as 25%. Which means consumers can save energy even while enjoying high performance signals both from 720p and 1080i. With a standard 60 Hz refresh rate and 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, this new VIZIO VA190E-W is expected to produce average image output; perfect for a secondary LCD TV in your bedroom, kitchen or study.

The new VIZIO VA190E-W is also RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, which means the six hazardous materials generally found in electronic products which has been restricted by the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, is not present in this LCD TV.
