Originally Reviewed on August 16th, 2010Vizio M260VA-W Review: 26’’ LED LCD HDTV
Up for Review: Vizio M260VA-W LED LCD TV. Vizio comes up with its latest dynamic model called the Vizio M260VA-W. This small size HDTV possesses most of the features that a full size HDTV should have. Although the size of this HDTV is very small still it possesses the native resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels which is fairly standard for a smaller HDTV. Thus the viewers are enabled to watch very high quality digital HD videos. The brightness of this model is 400 nits. With a response time of 8ms, this small HDTV makes it possible to watch flicker free and nonstop high definition movies without video hanging or blockages.
This model features the new SRS TruVolume and SRS TruSurround, the products of the SRS labs. The new Digital Ambient Light Sensing Technology provided in this model auto detects the lighting conditions of the room and sets the color and brightness level automatically. This feature frees the user from the hassles of manual color and brightness adjustments. If working correctly, this is very convenient but we find that the auto video and audio adjusting features of TV’s tend not to work as well as you’d hope. This model follows the Energy Star 4.0 conventions which makes this HDTV the most economical one.

Great Yea! but they refused to give code to direct TV so you must use two remotes or theirs all together, its frustrating.

got the tv on black friday for 200 bucks, and i guess i got i paid for. This TV color, contrast, and sharpness is not as great as many other midrange TVs out there. Its an ok lvl entry TV for 200 buck, and should not cost more…
Pros: reasonable affordable
Cons: Dim, picture is not as clear as a High def tv should be. flickers, slow refresh rate, blurry pictures.

The sales hype says “flicker free”. Unfortunately it’s not. Sometimes it flickers like crazy. All the tips on the Vizio website didn’t help…
