Up for Review: Viore LC19VX60PB LCD TV. Like most other 19” models, this HDTV is also targeted at an audience which has a limited budget or wants to buy a second TV for the house. It can easily fit into a kitchen or a small office room. A 720p display resolution helps to bring the best images. This is good enough for this TV to watch programs displayed. But a 1080p resolution can be a better solution to watch movies on the Blu-ray player. Gaming will also be affected because of the 720p.
A review shows that the contrast ratio is 800:1. This helps to provide better picture quality along with improved black levels. The whites and blacks are clearly defined which increases the range of the colors displayed. The colors are quite accurate and the skin tones appear to be very natural. Being a small HDTV, its sharpness is well defined making you feel as if the images are very real people sitting next to you.

The integration of an ATSC tuner helps to bring in over-the-air HD signals to the TV. This fact rules out the use of a separate set top box to view television programs. However, you will have to connect the set top box if you want to access encrypted channels.
There is also a HDMI connection which allows the proper transmission of HD signals. Besides that, there is a component video input, composite video input and S-video input. Viore also allows you to convert the HDTV to a computer monitor. You have the advantage of using this HDTV for both purposes. There is no USB port to view photos from a digital camera. But the presence of HDMI makes it possible to connect gaming consoles, Blu-ray players and camcorders to the HDTV. This small HDTV is good for people who want the features of an HDTV for a small price. Despite not being among the front runners in the HDTV market, Viore makes an impressive display with this HDTV.
