It’s a treat to watch high definition programming with the Sony KDL-55XBR8. Adorned with an interactive Program Guide, Xross Media Bar™, the new KDL-55XBR8 provides easy navigation through the television’s menus, and controls. Thanks to the 3D rich graphics of Photo Slideshow functions, now you can quickly access your digital photos and other video content without any hassle.

Sony’s XBR-8 Series proprietary TRILUMINOS® RGB uses dynamic LED’s rather than basic fluorescent tubes which many HDTV’s have. Use of this LED backlight ensures exceptionally long life for your HDTV. Now you can bring life to your images through KDL-55XBR8’s PhotoTV HD fine tuning feature which adjusts the settings as per color contrast, gradation and sharpness.

If there is anything to complain about with the new Sony KDL-55XBR8, it is its exorbitant price. Apart from that, this LCD model is about as good as you can’ll just have to pay for it.
