The 1080p resolution, saturated black levels and improved contrast ratio will complement various types of non-3D television programs like news, weather, family dramas and chat shows. At the same time, the active 3D technology support and auto 3D depth control will suit the need of latest movies and video games. Sony has also designed the model with ambient light sensor technology that automatically adjusted the light output of the TV set based on the amount of light available in the living room.
