Review of Sony KDL-40XBR6: 40″ 1080p LCD HDTV
Sony pulled the wraps off the KDL-40XBR6 HDTV and revealed a black, satiny, sleek model with exquisite features. Add to it the unique Bravia engine, and you get a fully digital video processor which gives fluid, natural and life-like images. The noise factor is suitably and visibly reduced by integrating the Dynamic Noise Reduction. A resolution of 1920 x 1080p pixels is compatible with any HDTV signal and can be connected to HD content like PlayStation 3, Blu-ray and more. The Motionflow 120 Hz processing helps remove judder to create a more realistic image.
The KDL-40XBR6 employs ACE (Advanced Contrast Enhancer) dynamic backlight to produce 25% more color range, lending a life-like nature to the moving images and photos. The Live Color Creation and x.v. color technology improve the vividness of the colors in leaps and bounds. The Xross Media Bar user interface can skillfully navigate through the interactive menus on screen.
