The Energy Saving Switch is a very interesting feature of this TV. Even the small amount of current which was being used up during the stand by mode will now be conserved. By keeping the TV in this mode, it will detach power from the main source and you will save further on your bills. Energy conservation is an important topic in HDTVs now with every manufacturer vying to make the TVs more and more eco-friendly. The Edge LED backlight feature of this TV also contributes to the energy saving features and so does the sensors.

Among the many sensors available in the TV, there is a presence sensor and an ambient sensor. The ambient sensor makes sure that the TV adjusts the color and the brightness according to the ambiance in the room. And the presence sensor is a totally new concept where the TV is able to guess if you are not attentive to the programs and dims the light accordingly. If you leave the room for half an hour, it will go into stand by mode. It will also shut down the picture mode and just keep the audio on when you are outside a particular range.
