The Samsung LN60C630, one of the recently released Hi-def LCD panels might suit some or all of your purposes. It scores decently on all counts and exceptionally well on picture clarity, thanks to the exclusive Touch of Color design features. Technically, Touch of Color is a blend of traditional black bezel and a hint of natural colors which create brighter and sharper images on your LCD panel.

The absence of the Internet access feature can be a dampener for many. You will have to be happy watching movies on the Blu-ray disc player and watching photos from the digital camera rather than watching them all on Flickr, Blockbuster and the other Internet sites.
Overall, the new 60 inch LCD LN60C630 from Samsung comes with decent features and make for a wise investment on an LCD TV. While this 60 inch panel appears visually pleasing essentially because of its size factor, it offers almost similar features as most recent LCD TVs announced recently. However, the introduction of some additional audio features helps this panel score a little over its lower-sized models. For instance, along with the SRS Theater Sound and Dolby Digital Decoding which existed in its previous models, this panel adds DTS coding as a part of it audio enhancements. But then, this panel is designed to attract high-end LCD TV buyers yearning for a complete LCD HDTV.
