Samsung LN22A450 Review – 22-inch LCD HDTV
Originally Reviewed on April 27th, 2008Samsung makes great high-definition sets – and the Samsung LN22A450 is no different. This budget sets aims to combine both great display quality and excellent value for money. The bezel-black 22-inch, 720p liquid crystal display was announced in March 2008, with a suggested retail price just around $599, though most online retailers have it for considerably less, which means making the move to high-definition has never been cheaper (if you haven’t done so already). We liked the sleek, compact design and a multitude of features of this budget-friendly television. But before we get to that, let’s take a quick look at the features and specs.

The LN22A450 is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a second HDTV for another room in your home, or office. Images remain vibrant throughout, both when watching movies on discs, and playing games and other tasks. The set comes with a full 178 degrees viewing angle, which ensures a bright, and well-lit picture no matter where you’re sitting. The two built-in speakers provide 3 watts of output, which is quite adequate for regular use, though we recommend a dedicated surround sound setup. As is the case with budget sets, there are only three inputs at the rear, which means you’ll have to manually hook up different equipment every time you want to switch from watching a movie, and want to playing a game on a console. This is the norm with displays in this price range, of course, doesn’t classify as a shortcoming. The Samsung LN22A450 is a gem of a LCD, with splendid picture quality, feature set and most importantly the budget-friendly price.

have a 19″ samsung tv It was manufactured in september 2006 about 3 years old and when you turn it on the picture comes on with no sound for about 30 seconds then the picture goes off and the sound comes on and stays on but no picture only 3 years old sad
