The deep black level in the image quality almost resembles that of a Plasma TV, but the LG 52LG50 is a LCD TV which often lose points for poor black levels.     and to top it all off, you dont have to turn it on, it comes on by itself and the remote wont shut it off, if you do manage to turn it off by the front button, you dont have to wait long, it will turn itself back on with a loud static noise, surfing the channels, JUNK!!

    I’m told the Main unit(Mother Board) is bad after a year and 3 mo. Cuts on and off by itself, volume goes up by itself, flashes “this function not available now” constantly. Haven’t been able to find the part no. Lg AGF37013601. So it’s been down for over 10 months, junk is right.
