Up for review: LG 37LH40 37 inch LCD TV. LG made improvements in its previous LH30 series by introducing the TruMotion 120 Hz panel and the Intelligent Sensor in the LG 37LH40. Our review shows that the faster response time guarantees the viewing of pictures and images without any judder. You can watch an action movie without any interfering trailing effects. The response time also enables refreshing of pixels in a very short time which makes the images flow in a continuous manner. The viewing experience is natural and very true-to-life.
The Intelligent Sensor is a part of the “Smart Energy Saving” option from LG. This feature enables the LG 37LH40 to conserve energy by selectively using more/less power as required. According to the ambience of the room, the brightness and contrast get adjusted automatically. The backlight control options and video mute add to the energy savings. This is a significant breakthrough considering the shortage of power worldwide. Most manufacturers are taking notice of this.
