Up for Review: LG 32LK450 LCD TV. LG previewed the LK450 series of LED TVs scheduled to be launched during the year 2011. It has increased the quality of audio and video by introducing a set of advanced and latest technologies. But a user will miss some of the advanced options like wireless connectivity and built in Wi-Fi. Although the set is scheduled to be released during 2011, the manufacturer has still not included the advanced connectivity options offered by other companies in their LCD TV line up.
LG has included a set of advanced video related features to enjoy a wide range of programs and shows being aired across various TV channels. It has included the intelligent sensor and picture wizard II along with a 1080p full HD support. The pictures get optimized based on the color and lighting condition of the living room through the intelligent sensor included by the manufacturer. Further, the picture wizard II helps in enhancing the color, sharpness, black and blackness level based on the on-screen reference points. These two features make the TV viewing experience more realistic and livelier.
The model also comes with a 1080p HD resolution, which adds to a wide range of programs being aired across different TV channels. Further, most of the latest movies and shows are made using an original 1080p resolution and can be enjoyed in an exact manner on a TV offering the same original resolution. But the viewing of fast moving sports and action scenes will be affected due to the 60 Hz refresh rate offered by the model.

You cannot consider the TV set for putting inside your kids’ room as they will start complaining by not enjoying their favorite sports and actions shows. LG would have made the TV set suitable for watching a wide range of programs along with local content simply by enhancing the basic refresh rate included in this model. It further comes with 3 HDMI ports that can be used for connecting additional digital devices to the TV set and watch the content stored on those devices on a larger LCD TV screen. But you will again miss the SD card slot, which is included in most of the latest sets available in the market.
The model scores much lower on the various options to access internet and online streaming content. It does not come with any options to access internet on the screen on the TV set. When most of the 2011 models come with built in Wi-Fi and wireless connectivity options, this set does not have any such options to access internet. Your overall scope of viewing a wide range of movies, music, images and programs is also being affected due to the lack of these features. But the video related features and enhanced resolution make the TV set considerable to watch various programs and movies being aired across various TV channels.
