Insignia NS-LCD32 (NSLCD32) Review – 32-inch LCD HDTV
Originally Reviewed on November 12th, 2007The Insignia NS-LCD32 is a 32 inch LCD flat panel available at retailers like Best Buy. Featuring the very popular 720p resolution, the NSLCD32 puts out a HD signal that can be received when subscribed to HD programming via cable or satellite. The Insignia NS-LCD32 features a matte black exterior that is pretty plain and simple looking. Its outward experience definitely doesn’t stand out but this HDTV falls into the budget category so you don’t really expect people to be buying it for its outward appeal. The NS-LCD32 falls into the sub $600 category and is a pretty good value at this price.

A review of the Insignia NS-LCD32 finds that its pretty impressively packed with features. The combination of the resolution, contrast ratio and brightness should provide a sharp picture. You must keep in mind the Insignia typically falls into the budget category so the lifespan and quality of the HDTV might not match up to a higher end brand. As far as budget brands, comparing the NSLCD32 to other budget brands like Vizio should help you find a great deal on a flat panel HDTV.
HDTVUniverse.com gives the NS-LCD32 8/10 stars!

I’ve got this TV, and love it. My review is here

I was satisfied with it overall, until the sound went out. I have had it 15 months. This happened before, but sound returned by itself. I did not think it was the TV malfunctioning at that time, but now I am almost certain it is the TV. Warranty has expired, of course.

the TV was great until it failed after 13 months (just out of warranty). I read that the picture tube needs to be replaced. What a horrible product since it’s so new. Last insignia i EVER buy, and once i find out who the manufacturer is, i’ll boycott there products also.
