Up for review: Haier HL32R LCD TV. Haier has brought forth the Haier HL32R to represent its new technology in the HDTV market. This HDTV is smartly designed with a black bezel. There is a hint of blue in the bottom edge of the bezel which imparts a bluish glow to it. The Haier logo is impressively engraved at the bottom of the front panel. The looks of the HDTV are good enough to woo any customer.
With a 1366 x 768 resolution, the Haier HL32R has a good picture quality and a notable response time of 8ms. The fast action scenes will be good to view. There will be no blurring. With 16.7 million colors which can be displayed, you can sense the subtle difference in every detail in the picture. The shades will be very noticeable. Needless to say, the images will look natural and life-like. Each shade will bring out the importance of every single detail.

I bought this tv at my local Shoprite grocery store on a Black Friday Special. It was a year ago this last November. Yesterday the speakers went. I had it connected through my shelf unit stereo because I never thought the sound from this tv was all that great. Unfortunately, it only plays the sound when thr tv can have sound. It has a great picture but now no sound. I guess this is what I get for a bargain tv.
