Up for review: Haier HL19R LCD TV. The Haier HL19R is the latest entry from Haier. The outer design is quite impressive with a black finish. The bottom part of the front panel is tinged with blue and the black bezel provides a contrasting look. The size of the HDTV suggests that it will be used in smaller rooms like the kitchen, bedroom or office room. This HDTV is mostly used as a second option in the house.
A review shows that the display of the Haier HL19R is 19” but the resolution is a good 1440 x 900. It rests on an adjustable stand which can be tilted through 8 degrees. This will afford you the ease to place it anywhere in the house. It can also be used as a computer monitor. You can easily use it to surf the internet. The PC input available on the HDTV makes this possible. While being functional as an HDTV, the Haier HL19R makes use of the ATSC/NTSC tuner to receive over-the-air signals which are compatible with the HDTV.
