Once bitten blame Coby twice bitten blame me. This company must have a problem with producing a reliable unit. We bought a 19″ unit over a year ago from Frys electronics and withing a few months it would not turn. Frys wouldn’t do anything about it and said if in warranty to send it back to New York(back East) where the company is from. We decided to bite it and toss it as with postage and all wasn’t worththetrouble. Frys had an add for a new 24 ” LCD and we went there and it was another COBY well for 159 I couldn’t pass it up so we bought the 2 year warranty and guess what. We have a TV that the picture looks like there is fire all over Red streaking. GOd, how does Frys keep buying from this manufacture. Lucky I have the warranty and it is better than the TV. I WILL NOT BUY FROM FRYS EVER AGAIN. Not even brand names not knowing where tey got them from.

JUST BOUGHT A COBY TFTV 1923 IT WORKS WELL AS A TV.
BUT WHEN I TRY TO USE IT WITH MY COMPUTER IT WON’T SYNC.IT IS USING THE COMPUTER MONITOR CABLE AND IS SET TO THE VGA MODE.
THIS SUCKS.

19 inch hdtv not even 1 year old, picture turns light then gets a greenish tint ,have to turn tv off,when you turn tv back on it may be ok for a few minutes but does it again paid 300.00 for tv

I bought 15 inch coby tv also for my camper used 3 times. Went out just like you said won’t power up at all. Just went out of warranty.

Bought this TV in January for my daughter’s room. It just went out completely. Won’t turn on at all and it’s out of warranty. I paid $175 for this paperweight. Buyer beware of the Coby brand.
